30th Anniversary Celebration
Founded in 1982, The Banner School, Frederick County’s only nonsectarian independent day school, serving 170 students in preschool (ages 3 & 4) through 8th grade, is celebrating its 30th anniversary on Saturday, February 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Frederick community is cordially invited to attend this special event, which includes hors d’oeuvres and desserts, wine and beer tasting, a silent auction featuring select items, and musical entertainment provided by the Kevin Lewis Quartet. Tickets cost $50 apiece and can be purchased by contacting the school’s Development Director, Gail Dobay, at (301) 695-9320 or gdobay@bannerschool.org by February 15, 2012.
Tots2Tweens Egg Hunt 2012
Bring the kids and join us for a terrific FREE Tots2Tweens 2012 Egg Hunt, on Saturday, March 31st. The hunt begins at 11 a.m. on the grounds of The Banner School, 1730 North Market Street, Frederick. There are hunting times for different age groups and kids only need to find one (1) empty plastic egg, which they can redeem for a goody bag. There will be some specially marked eggs throughout the grounds as well, and those may be redeemed for a special prize!!
